How does the balloon flight take place?

For the balloon flight we take advantage of the experience and expertise of the Balloon Team. The appointment is in the morning around 6.30am, when the air is still fresh for the night favoring the best conditions for the flight. The starting point is the farm fields, a few minutes from Salvadonica. Here you will receive a flight briefing to clarify any doubts and respect safety. At this point you will be ready for take-off together with your flight companions and you will begin to gently float in the air. During the flight you can enjoy the view of a breathtaking scenery, flying over woods, fields and farmhouses of the Chianti hills. Upon landing away, wait for a breakfast with a toast based on Prosecco and a tasting of cheeses of exquisite cheeses from the Corzano e Paterno farm.

Comfortable and casual clothing is recommended for flying in a hot air balloon. In particular, flat sport shoes and layered clothes, to better face the fresh morning air. The temperature in flight will however be the same as on the ground. To be able to fly in a hot air balloon, you must be fit enough to be able to stay up for an hour and get on board the spacecraft. The flight is not recommended for children who do not exceed the edge of the basket in height and is forbidden for pregnant women, those who have recently undergone surgery or have health conditions that the experience would put at risk.
