Wine and oil guided tasting
Chianti Wine and Extra Virgin Olive Oil of Salvadonica guided Tasting
Visiting Tuscany also means knowing it through its food and wine excellences. That’s why we decided to organize a tasting of the most famous products of this area for our guests. The noble Chianti Classico wine, the fruit of the grapes ripened in the sun in our vineyards, and the Extra Virgin Olive Oil from the Salvadonica olive groves. Two types of harvest, that of grapes and olives, which make us proud of the care we dedicate to them, day after day. Real nectars for the spirit and the palate that from the aroma release the essence of the thriving Tuscan lands.
How the guided tasting takes place
Personalized tastings of Chianti Wine and EVO Salvadonica oil are held every day at 17.00. We will start with a brief introduction by an expert winemaker to present local products. After a quick explanation on the terroir, the Chianti vineyards, the stages of cultivation and production of wine and pure EVO oil, the tasting begins. In addition to the Extra Virgin Olive oil produced in the olive groves of the estate, we will present three types of wine from Salvadonica’s vineyards: IGT, Chianti Classico, and Riserva. The tasting also includes a visit to the ancient underground tuff cellar that once served as a cold room. Now used for the optimal conservation of the bottles, it is a fascinating and evocative setting for an experience that is now a ritual of taste.
